Karl Fetterman
Owner

After graduating from Albright College in 1971 with a B.S. in Mathematics Karl began his insurance career with the Travelers Insurance Company, specializing in Business Insurance.

In 1975 he joined Kling Bros. as a Partner. He and his wife Susan raised four children, John, Gregg, Kris and Robert. Karl enjoys being involved in numerous Central Pennsylvania civic and charitable activities. Personal interests include travel, softball, golf and cooking.

As a lifelong student and teacher, Karl holds ten professional designations.

Scott Fetterman
General Manager/Chief Financial Officer

Scott graduated from Albright College in 1978 with a major in Economics and a minor in Accounting.

After three years as a computer programmer, Scott came to Kling Bros. in 1981. During that time, he earned the CIC and AAI designations, served as President of York Area Independent Insurance Agents Association, and is working toward the CFP (Certified Financial Planning) designation.

Scott and his wife, Ann have three children -- David, Elizabeth, and Christian.

His outside interests include coaching soccer where his youth teams have won five divisional championships and numerous tournaments. Scott also has served on his Church Council and multiple task forces and committees. He and Ann tutor high school students preparing for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) where the students have enjoyed an average increase of almost 100 points.

Robert Hamme
Commercial Accounts Manager

Bob has been an integral part of Kling Bros. for almost 20 years. As Commercial Accounts Manager, Bob administers claims, takes care of client requests and reviews clients’ Insurance Programs. Bob says, “I really enjoy helping people get all the things they need.” He is widely regarded as one of the most knowledgeable insurance professionals in the state and is universally loved by his clients. Bob is an avid golfer and enjoys hunting.

Robert Christy
Underwriter/Account Executive

As an Underwriter and Account Executive, Bob does most everything. Working primarily with commercial insurance, he helps find his clients the best value for many types of coverage. Bob says he likes interacting with people and finding out what businesses do. “There are so many types of businesses out there, and my job is to learn as much as I can about the client’s specific needs so I can recommend the best coverage for them.” Bob enjoys golf and reading and stays active in his community. He also likes to attend local high school football games.

Kim Crone
Receptionist

When you call or visit, chances are you’ll be treated to a cheery greeting from Kim. Kim loves people and it shows every day. In addition to her receptionist duties, she is a computer whiz. Kim is active in her church and loves cheering on her sons at football and basketball games.

Gregg Fetterman
Account Executive

Gregg is an experienced insurance and technology executive. Prior to joining Kling Bros, he worked for Price Waterhouse Management Consulting Services where he specialized in project management and system architecture for clients including General Motors, United Airlines, Compaq, and Motorola. Gregg lives in Harrisburg and enjoys the outdoors. As an expert skier, he seeks out the most challenging slopes in North America and Europe.

Susan Fetterman
Customer Service Representative

Susan has been in Customer Service at Kling Bros. for 10 years. She is the consummate Team Player and does everything she can to assist clients and co-workers. Her extraordinary skills in restoration and decorating are reflected throughout the office. Susan enjoys traveling, especially to New York City.

Tom Figart
Account Executive

Tom lives in Lancaster with his wife Cathy. He is usually on the road serving his clients and developing new client relationships. As a former teacher and longtime insurance professional, he can make even difficult insurance concepts understandable. Tom is an excellent athlete and he enjoys nothing more than a round of golf with Cathy.

Sheree Godfrey
Personal Lines Agent

Sheree works in our Personal Lines department, creating personal insurance programs for clients including auto, homeowners and umbrella policies. She enjoys her work and says that the flexible hours and great people make this a great position to have. “I find my job very rewarding. I love being able to show people how they can save money and still get great insurance protection.” When Sheree’s not hard at work she enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and husband Larry, reading and exercising.

Marian Harris
Commercial Account Executive

Marian has been part of the insurance industry since 1972. She joined Kling Bros. in 1995 and has worked in commercial lines as a sales associate ever since. Marian deals primarily with businesses and has developed a sizable clientele in Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties. When Marian’s not analyzing policies she is vacationing in the Caribbean or Palm Springs, reading, shopping, or enjoying a game of golf with husband Bob.

Karen Parrett
Benefits Professional

Karen has been in the insurance business since 1977 working as an underwriter for The Hartford, Harleysville and Great American and most recently as the Senior Underwriter for HealthGuard of Lancaster, Inc. She also served as an Independent Agent for a Lancaster based insurance agency. Karen enjoys helping business owners with the complexities of their Group Medical Benefits and specializes in providing them with creative plan designs for their employees with affordability in mind.

Away from the office, you will find Karen and daughter Priscilla on the trails from South Carolina to New York State, horse in tow, for endurance races of 25 to 100 miles. You will also find her in the theater, creating costumes for the many productions at the Lancaster Fulton Opera House or for a Lititz area set designer for personalities such as Sandra Bullock, Elton John, Marc Anthony, Willy Nelson, Aerosmith, Alicia Keys and more!!

Andrea Rohrer
Business Development Manager

Since early 1997 Andrea has served as our Business Development Manager. She handles customer accounts, brings in new business and works with other company representatives. Andrea says her job is rewarding because she gets to meet so many new people. "My job never gets boring. There are always new businesses to learn about and new people to talk to." When Andrea's not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, horseback riding and traveling to other countries. To date she's already visited Mexico, Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany and many more.

Joann Smith
Account Executive

JoAnn manages commercial insurance accounts and attracts new clients. She served as a bank officer before joining Kling Bros. as an Account Executive in 2001. She says that even though she has more responsibilities now than in banking, she enjoys her job much more. “I love the people I work with and appreciate the tight- knit agency feel at Kling Bros.” JoAnn also enjoys collecting antiques and bicycling in her spare time.
